My name is Godlisten, or Goddy for short. My mother bestowed this name upon me because my birth posed challenges, making her pray fervently, saying, “God, listen.” Eventually, I entered this world, hence my name.

During my time in primary and secondary school, I developed a passion for safaris and harbored a dream of establishing my own safari company. After completing my studies, I worked with various tourism companies to acquire the skills needed to realize my dream.

One memorable day, while on a travel leisure trip with a company I was employed by, we visited Rubondo Island National Park on the Tanzanian side of Lake Victoria. It was there that I witnessed the wonders of nature, particularly a spotted-necked otter on Rubondo Island. This experience held great significance for me, as I marveled at the beauty of these creatures. So that why I chose Otters Safaris name.
