DAY 1; ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE:
Depart from Arusha town at 0830 with picnic lunches for Tarangire National Park tour. The park is located 120km away from Arusha. It is famed for its congregation of big herds of Elephants and a buffaloes, this landscape of open plains is dotted with thousands of baobabs trees. During game drive you may see zebras, wildebeest, elephant, Maasai giraffe, Baboons, Fringe-eared Oryx and other predators such as Lions, cheetah, leopard even tree climbing python if you are lucky, alongside variety of birds such as the endemic ashy starling, Rufus-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird. Picnic lunch will be provided by your driver Guide at the designed picnic area inside the park. Then late evening drive to Manyara secret Lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2; TUESDAY 21ST FEBRUARY 2017 TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA PARK
Early in morning after breakfast at the camp, depart for Lake Manyara National Park with your packed Lunches. Game drive in the park and picnic lunch will be provided to you by your driver guide. Lake Manyara is small but very attractive park inhabited by many animals such as Giraffe, Buffalo, Elephant, Baboon, Lion sometime on acacia species, Hippopotamus and a great number of birdlife eg Pelican, Pink flamingoes etc. Also you can still enjoy the brilliant environment of the park. Late evening, drive back Country Lodge Karatu for dinner and Overnight.
DAY 3; LAKE MANYARA-SERENGETI
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Dr Louis and Mary Leakey made a significant discovery, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a sunset game drive. Overnight at Moyo Tented Lodge Serengeti
DAY 4; FULL DAY SERENGETI
Enjoy a fully day Serengeti tour, picnic lunch inside the park, In the Serengeti; with a bit of luck there is a possibility to see the migration of wildebeest and zebras accompanied by predators. Nevertheless you may spot a pride of lion on hunt and many other species of birds including the Kori bustard famed as the heaviest flying bird in the also troops of baboons can be spotted on move. Dinner and overnight at Moyo Tented Lodge
DAY 5; SERENGETI-NGORONGORO
Just after your hot breakfast, Embark on an early morning game drive in the Serengeti. Serengeti name comes from Maasai Language meaning endless plain. Therefore is home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, warthogs, Hyena plus a lots and lots of bird life. In many cases migration is taking place around Serengeti and at that particular time millions of wildebeest and zebra are mingling together followed by predators. Afternoon after Lunch, drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge
DAY 6; NGORONGORO CRATER-ARUSHA
After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunches) The Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drive back to Arusha
