12:DAYS 7:NIGHTS LUXURY LODGE SAFARI- NOTHERN TANZANIA AND ZANZIBAR

DAY 1;

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the morning met by our representative then transfer to Arusha. Overnight at LAKE DULUTI LODGE (FB)

 

DAY 2;  ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Depart at 0830 with picnic lunches for Tarangire National Park tour. The park is located 120km southwest of Arusha. It is famed for its congregation of big herds of Elephants and a buffaloes, this landscape of open plains is dotted with thousands of baobabs trees. During game drive you may see zebras, wildebeest, elephant, Maasai giraffe, Baboons, Fringe-eared Oryx and other predators such as Lions, cheetah, leopard even tree climbing python if you are lucky, alongside variety of birds such as the endemic ashy starling, Rufus-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird. Picnic lunch will be provided by your driver Guide at the designed picnic area inside the park. Then late evening drive to MANYARA SECRET LODGE full board basis

 

DAY 3; TARANGIRE- LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart with your picnic lunches and drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This beautiful park with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Maasai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Zebras and a variety of Antelopes inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. Lunch boxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. Dinner and overnight at THETREANT NGORONGORO full board basis

 

DAY 4;  LAKE MANYARA TO SERENGETI

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority a designated the UNESCO World site Heritage. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made significant discoveries contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at MELIA SERENGETI full board basis

DAY 5;  SERENGETI FULL DAY
Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning sunrise followed by full day Serengeti National Park tour putting you in a position to see lots of the animals. Serengeti in Maasai meaning the endless plain; 14763sq km in size is the home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Leopards, Cheetahs, Warthogs, Hyenas plus a lots of bird life. The great migration is taking place around Serengeti and during that particular time millions of Wildebeests, Zebras, Thompson’s Gazelles, Grants Gazelle, Elands and Impalas are mingling together followed by predators. Dinner and overnight SERENGETI MELIA LODGE

 

DAY 6; SERENGETI TO NORTHERN

Get breakfast at the lodge followed by game drive to different areas within the park, lunchboxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. Continue with game drives further to northern. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti

DAY 7;  NORTHEN SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

After breakfast at the lodge set off for a morning game drive. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at MELIA NGORONGORO  for dinner and overnight

 

DAY 08: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful crater tour with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world a designated UNESCO World Heritage; It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drive back to KILIMA MOJA in lake manyara for dinner and overnight

 

DAY 09 MANYARA TO ZANZIBAR
Today at leisure and after breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative who will then transfer you to see cliff  in Zanzibar In afternoon/ evening you will have a good time to enjoy the magnificence views and Indian Ocean shores of the see cliff  hotel Dinner and overnight at SEACLIFF HOTEL ZANZIBAR

DAY 10 SPICE AND STONE TOWN TOUR
Depart from the hotel for a spice tour, this involves visiting the species growing areas to see different spices and to learn their nature, uses and taste some of them right on the spot depending on the season. In addition it involves visits to the famous spices producing area where you can see medicinal, cosmetics, ornamental plants and herbs. Most of the interesting items are cloves, nut Meg, rambutan, lipstick, iodine plant, lemon grass, vanilla, henna, shampoo plant e5tc. You will have the unique opportunity to purchase these exclusive species straight from the source. Finally you will visit the Kidichi Persian Baths that were built by the first Sultant of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Said bin Sultan in 1850 and Maruhubi Palace Ruins built by the third Sultan of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Baraghash Bin Said in 1880 which were built especially for housing 99 of his harem. Swahili lunch at local restaurant at stone town and evening drive to see cliff for dinner and overnight similar hotel.

 

DAY 11 DIVING AND BOAT RIDING

The tropical fish capital of East Africa, Mnemba is an island just off Sunshine Marine Lodge. It has stunning aquarium-like conditions on the west side, and good wall diving on the east side of the island. Divers are constantly surprised by the rich and diverse marine life, regularly seeing turtles, which breed on the island, dolphins and large schools of fish. Seasonally, whale sharks and humpback whales glide past, just a few meters from the divers. Drift diving here is a year-round event, with great diving to be found under almost all weather conditions, and visibility of 15 to 35 meters is the norm. Evening embark on Boat ride. Dinner and overnight at similar hotel.
